We have worked successfully with Bank Park for a number of years at our Lound Court
Shopping Centre in Chapeltown, Sheffield. Bank Park manage this site effectively and efficiently. And we have seen customer flow increase as well as retailers revenue, whilst also donating a percentage of the parking fee to our chosen charity which is currently the RSPCA. In addition the Bank Park wardens keep the site clean, tidy and litter free which is essential for a busy shoppers’ car park.
To give a little more background – Lound Court is a multiple outlet site with over 14 retailers who all rely on their customers being able to park easily and fairly. Some years ago our retailers were finding that their customers couldn’t get into the car park due to there being no parking restrictions. A lot of the spaces were taken up all day by commuters using the local train station and those going off site to shop elsewhere. Clearly this was a big problem and had to be addressed.
Thankfully we were introduced to Ashley at Bank Park who came up with a split ticket refund parking scheme. This entitles the parker to reclaim their £1 parking fee in exchange for spending the minimum of £1 in any of the Lound Court shops. We now have happy customers and retailers; and it also means that those wanting to go off site can do so but have to pay the correct hourly or daily fee.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the Bank Park team to any retail outlet which has parking management issues. The charitable ethos of Bank Park is one which we admire and in the last few years have donated over £7,500 to our chosen charities.
